TRURO, NS - June 27, 2023 - Truro Raceway is pleased to announce a partnership with Truro Brewing Company, to produce a Truro Raceway beer, called Trackside APA (American Pale Ale) that will be available at the Truro Horsemen’s Club immediately and later this summer will be available at both Truro Raceway and at Mill Cove Brew Pub in Bedford, home of our Teletheatre.
“We’re quite thrilled to debut Trackside in a custom Truro Raceway can and it’s been a pleasure working with Jana and her team at Truro Brewing Company on this project. The beer is fantastic and we hope people will support the brand and enjoy it.” Said Truro Raceway General Manager, Steve Fitzsimmons.
The beer is a crisp, clean American Pale Ale brewed with Pale Malt and Ahtanum Hops. It has a light golden colour and medium weight mouth feel. It is 5.4% alcohol and the bitterness is moderate.
The beer is currently available at the Truro Horsemen’s Club and at Truro Brewing Company, but will be available at Truro Raceway this summer, once the race track is able to get their liquor license back after a 3-year hiatus. It will also be available at the Mill Cove Brew Pub in Bedford, where the race track’s second off-track betting teletheatre is located.
